From Brussels to Berlin – #2 Week<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After our first weeks last stop in Langenhagen, the Tour bus went straight to Berlin, where we organized a great wine tasting event – Our Tour des Senses – with Braun Audio, celebrating 100yrs of good design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Berlin, we took the party to Polen, with stops in Zlotow and Warsaw. Of course, our Austrian capital Vienna also was not to be missed on the route and last but not least, before heading back to our Headquarter in Kundl, we stopped in Ingolstadt. More on this in the next article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, we don’t want to deprive you of detailed insights into our Tour des Senses wine tasting in Berlin and this week’s highlight Brand Pure Limited, who will release great new products soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Usually, at this time of the year, the world of Consumer Electronics is meeting at IFAMesse Berlin GmbH, but this time everything was different. That’s why this year we decided to bring the party to the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We invited guests to a “Tour des senses”. 1 location, 2 experts (the wine expert, Christian Kraus (GM from Riedel) and Mr. Andreas G\u00fcnther (Hifi Journalist from Lowbeats)), 3 LE speakers and 4 wines were served in an exclusive collaboration between RIEDEL – The wine glass company, Braun Audio, and The Latest Store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We learned that the founder George Riedel got rid of ornamental glasses and false beliefs in how a glass “has to” look. Despite conventional wisdom, he created glasses that were not led by what was fashionable at the time but first and foremost by a purpose: “To make any bottle of wine come out at its best.” All based on the principles of good design. These same principles that Dieter Rams formalized and lead to so many Braun design icons of today. Design needs to be useful (serve a purpose), it should be simple and it should be innovative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also experienced how room-filling and crystal clear the sound of a LE01 is. The new speakers from Braun Audio are timeless in their design but they also sound fantastic. Whether they are stereo-paired or used as a single speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last but not least we all saw the art and magic of storytelling live on stage with Christian Kraus who did an excellent job of guiding us through the evening. A big thank you also goes to the sound experts from Lowbeats Verlag GmbH and in particular Mr. Andreas G\u00fcnther for being part of this experiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We weren’t the only ones who thought the event was a great success. In addition to the guests, Dhi Matiole Nunes, the Co-founder of The Latest Store was also very enthusiastic: “The guests had a fantastic evening and the feedback was positive throughout. I didn’t know what to expect and in the end I was very surprised by the combination of the Riedel wine glass tasting and the Braun Audio listening session. An absolutely successful event.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
