How do we make sure a brand reaches its full potential? Let’s take a look at seasoned newcomer Braun Audio. After decades away from the audio category, they made a spectacular comeback by reinventing their classic speakers from 1959.

Now, with brick and mortar stores closed and physical presentation rendered impossible, we took to the online sphere to promote this exciting launch. We employed innovative social media marketing to reach a target audience, using product-related assets that don’t look like ads. By distancing ourselves from traditional promotional activities and utilsing interesting, creative quality content instead, we succeeded in engaging both audio and design fans with the brand. Read on to learn about the project.

Synaesthesia

Synaesthesia. The perceptual phenomenon in which two sensory or cognitive stimulations overlap. A crossing of senses if you will.

What if you could see colour through sound?

Someone who possesses this ability of visualising colour when hearing sound is known as a synaesthete, and two such artists are Jake Andrew Nason and Tokio Myers. In collaboration with Braun Audio, a project was launched in which they interpret the sound delivered by the LE range through a work of art. Watch below with headphones for the full, immersive, binaural experience.

<img decoding="async" alt="Braun Audio. Through his art, he encourages his audience to explore the two worlds of sound and colour as one and to put that experience into the context of existing in a society often at conflict with itself.
